INS-8405M is a 5-port, 10/100/1000 RJ45 downlink unmanaged industrial switch for very elementary communication between controllers and devices in automation settings. It offers auto-negotiation on all its ports to aggregate devices easily in industrial ethernet applications. The switch offers various in-built traffic optimization and network performance features to prioritize PROFINET industrial protocol communication, and QoS Tagged data 802.1p/Tag QoS prevent the loss of data during communication, and stable transmission.
This switch is built with industrial-grade components, enclosed in IP30 aluminum, to protect the device from tools and hazards. This device is certified DNV approved for safe use in marine applications.
